Mariana graduated from American University in Washington, DC with a degree in communications in 1995. Shortly following college Mariana worked in the public relations field as a movie publicist and then as a publicist for the Make A Wish Foundation. Mariana has lived in Washington, DC, Los Angeles and New York, and moved to Charlotte with husband and two children in 2006.
Mariana obtained her real estate license in 2007 and is a member of the National Association of Realtors. She is an active volunteer in the Mecklenburg Catholic school system, is a member of the Junior League of Charlotte, and is an active community volunteer for St. Matthews Catholic church, where she serves on on the "muffin ministry" and A Childs Place Ministry. Her hobbies include playing tennis, reading, watching movies and traveling!
